Techso is growing! We are looking for a motivated Splunk Administrator to contribute to SIEM initiatives and support our clients in complex technological environments.

To excel in this role, you should :

  • Be mobile within the Montreal area to meet with clients as needed.
  • Be fluent in both French and English, spoken and written, as these languages are essential for daily communication with colleagues and clients, both in Quebec and abroad.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and maintain Splunk environments (Enterprise, ES, ITSI, etc.).
  • Design, develop, and optimize dashboards, alerts, and reports.
  • Participate in the architecture, deployment, and optimization of SIEM solutions.
  • Ensure platform performance, upgrades, and security.
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and operations teams to support event analysis and investigations.
  • Document configurations, processes, and best practices.
  • Contribute to automation efforts and integrate Splunk with other security tools.
  • Implement and manage network security controls (firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS).
  • Monitor network traffic to detect anomalies and support incident response.
  • Perform basic administration of network environments (switches, routers, secure access).
  • Participate in the development and improvement of information security policies.

Skills & Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Splunk administration and configuration (Enterprise, ES, ITSI).
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM projects (design, deployment, optimization).
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, log management, and incident detection.
  • Practical experience in network administration (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, routing/switching).
  • Experience managing Linux/Windows systems.
  • Asset: scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on client projects.
