Project Manager

We are a company operating in the engineering and manufacturing sector, which thanks to its know-how and technology has carved out a place as a leader in the aerial platform and construction industry. room transformation, both nationally and internationally. These projects take place in an international construction environment.

The Project Manager will report directly to the Executive VP, General Manager of the company and will coordinate the completion of projects in mechanical, electrical and construction engineering (in collaboration with the sales, engineering, procurement and planning teams). , production and accounting).

The selected person must fulfill the following functions:

· Act as a point of contact with the client and its partners (architects, consultants and engineers) and ensure a good understanding of the technical parameters, our equipment as well as the requirements to ensure their integration into buildings (mechanical, civil and electrical);

· Review contracts and technical quotes to ensure compliance of our equipment with project requirements;

· Ensure an adequate level of exchanges between the various stakeholders involved and good communication of aspects related to the projects (draft correspondence and manage communication between Gala, clients, subcontractors on site, etc.) and communicate objectives to internal employees (performance, budget, deadlines, etc.)

· Prepare schedules, budgets and cash flows for the projects in charge, and monitor their compliance.

· Manage the administrative aspects of projects and ensure their inclusion in contracts

· Ensure the application of contractual clauses and coordinate their impacts and their integration into the implementation of projects;

· Document the evolution of projects and any changes or additions that may occur during the course of the contract (negotiate and manage changes to contracts)

· Ensure the resolution of problems that may arise during design, procurement, production or installation on the site and compliance with all local standards, including those relating to health and safety. security;

· Participate in the project estimation process (engineering hours, production and installation costs) in collaboration with the estimation and sales team;

· Proceed with the hiring of subcontractors and the organization of the rental of equipment (specialized or not), including the required insurance;

· Prepare the post-mortem of projects and participate in the continuous improvement process.

Qualifications and skills required:

• BAC in mechanical or civil engineering or relevant experience in one of these fields;
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in engineering, including 2 years in project management
• Very good command of English and French, both oral and written;
• Very good command of the IT tools of the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, MS Project);
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure;
• Relational skills demonstrated in relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
• Team player.
