We are seeking a qualified and motivated Project Engineer specializing in ASME standards (particularly Chapter 8) to work on pressure vessel design projects and other metal components. If you have expertise in mechanical engineering and wish to apply your skills to stimulating and diverse projects, we would be delighted to welcome you to our team.
What you will do:
Design of pressure vessels and/or their components according to ASME standards.
Collaboration with production and quality control teams to establish manufacturing procedures and sequences.
Interaction with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to manage contracts and interpret specifications.
Active participation in short- and long-term projects.
We are looking for a candidate with:
Bachelor's degree in metallurgical or mechanical engineering.
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (an asset).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field relevant, ideally in the manufacture of pressure vessels.
In-depth knowledge of ASME Section VIII Div. 1
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Autonomy, versatility, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
Knowledge of welding processes (SAW, SMAW, GMAW, FLAW) is an asset.
