Are you passionate about optimizing engineering processes and driving digital transformation in manufacturing companies? Join the Techso team as a PLM Software Architect (Product Lifecycle Management) and put your expertise to work on innovative projects.

To excel in this role, you should:

  • Have solid experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), including analyzing business processes and supporting or implementing PLM solutions such as Dassault Systèmes, PTC, Siemens, etc.
  • Be mobile within the Montreal area to meet with clients as needed and/or be open to international opportunities and be willing to relocate. 
  • Be fluent in both French and English, spoken and written, as these languages are essential for daily communication with colleagues and clients, both in Quebec and abroad.

Responsibilities

  • Design and evolve the technical architecture of PLM solutions to ensure organizational performance and long-term sustainability.
  • Guide and support development teams in technology choices and implementation best practices.
  • Actively participate in the design, development, integration, and deployment phases of solutions.
  • Define and promote development standards, coding best practices, and technological tools.
  • Collaborate with teams responsible for overall architecture, business processes, and deployment environments.
  • Provide expertise on complex technical challenges and contribute to skill development within teams.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in the aerospace or aviation sector.
  • Knowledge of at least one PLM solution (Dassault Systèmes, PTC, Siemens, etc.).
  • Strong software development skills and experience designing complex technical architectures.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
  • Ability to design stable and high-performance solutions in demanding industrial environments.
  • Strong interest in mentoring, technical leadership, and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated autonomy, rigor, and curiosity, and comfort in international contexts.
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken, to collaborate with teams and clients in Quebec and abroad.
