Sanimax is looking for a Project Manager (3-5 years) for its Canadian plants.
Reporting to the Project Manager (Canada), the Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle. He will also be fully responsible for managing project activities and results, including project administration and compliance. As primary responsibility, the candidate will be responsible for and deliver the projects allocated by Project Manager Canada (Sanimax invests US $ 20-25 million in capital projects annually at its North American plants). As a secondary responsibility, the latter will have to coordinate the technical resources required for the execution of its projects, both within the engineering department and consultants.
The desired candidate is a curious person, highly motivated, dynamic and autonomous. He must have a minimum of 2-3 years in project management as well as in technical drawings. The candidate must demonstrates autonomy and brings new innovative ideas to evolve in an environment in full expansion. Experience in the agri-food sector would be an asset. Main responsibilities and specific tasks:
Establish and track project schedules, budget and goals. With the help of your supervisor, identify the appropriate resources needed and establish timeframes to ensure that tasks within projects are completed in a timely manner. Communicate well with all parties involved the timing and correlation of tasks. Ensure the project team’s commitment to the established schedule and communicate the important points to the team: the expectations of the client, the understanding of the project, its main phases and the expected results. Monitor and communicate regularly the project status to all stakeholders. Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Consultants and other staff to ensure project deliverables are delivered quickly and effectively. icace. Identify, communicate and manage risks, address issues constructively and with maturity. Maintain client’s confidence in our ability to achieve project objectives in the best possible way by demonstrating project control, presenting a clear and honest picture of the progress of the project, obtaining the participation and support of the client to make any necessary changes or adjustments. Requirements
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Other related university degrees will be considered if the experience is relevant). Bilingualism(French / English). A minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience, 203 in factory project management. Good knowledge of drawing software (Autocad) would be an asset. > Excellent communication and teamwork skills, establish good interpersonal relationships and foster the development of high-performance teams. Experience in managing industrial projects in the process field (liquid or solid) ) will be an asset. Experience in the field of agribusiness will be an asset. The candidate must have strong skills in field work (hands on) and at the level of supervision with our contractors.
