Under the responsibility of the property manager, the person acts as a technical expert, particularly in the identification of problems, the choice of targets and as coordinator of interventions, application and follow-up of solutions. She supervises technicians in all aspects of building operations. With regard to optimizing the operation of buildings, it ensures the preparation, control and administration of operating budgets, conservation and maintenance of the housing stock. In addition, she is responsible for managing conservation, improvement and development projects. It also participates in the implementation of real estate solutions aiming at optimal use of spaces.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and be a member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
- Have three (3) years of experience relevant to the duties of the position (building operations).
- Have a good analytical and synthesis skills as well as coordinating skills.
- Special experience in project management and energy management, among others.
- Good basic knowledge of software related to the discipline.
- Know the laws, regulations, codes and standards related to the fields of activity.
YOUR CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
This position has an annual salary of up to $ 81,282 (2015 Salary Range) with the exception of overtime. Treatment will vary based on skill and experience, according to the expected scale of the job class.
