  • Perform simulator activities based on the accumulation of standard tasks.
  • Analyze project requirements and customize simulator configuration.
  • Organize and plan subsystem integration.
  • Integrate and calibrate instruments and simulator systems.
  • Install software on simulators and integrate software and hardware into various systems to ensure that simulators are functional.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and maintain required documents at the customer's location.
  • Identify, document and fix hardware and software integration issues by interacting with the support team in Montreal.
  • Perform verification and calibration of controls and motion systems.
  • Generate test results for qualification purposes.
  • Make sure the simulator is ready for the verification and validation step
  • Act as the first point of contact for health and safety elements when at the customer
  • Support activities during customer acceptance and eligibility phases.
  • Take care of administrative and logistical tasks when required
  • Work shift and move abroad.


  • University or technical degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace or software engineering; in computer science; or equivalent experience
  • 1 to 5 years minimum relevant experience
  • Experience related to simulators or real aircraft, an asset
  • Motivated, dynamic person with a good team spirit and strong planning and organizational skills
  • Rapid adaptability to technological evolution
  • Adaptation (work schedule, establishment of location and duration of field visits, tasks) and high accountability for assigned projects and tasks
  • Good software and hardware troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to manipulate software to troubleshoot and resolve problems, and update and compile code for use in a flight simulator application
  • Knowledge of a programming language, an asset
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems, aerodynamic forces, flight dynamics or control theory, an asset
  • Effective communication skills (oral and written)
  • Strong customer and results driven approach
  • Ability to work in stressful situations and take appropriate action as needed
  • Knowledge of hardware tools and standard CAE processes related to XR simulator technology
  • Validate, track and document hardware issues related to electrical and mechanical design using CAE standard hardware reporting mechanisms (problem reporting, RNC ...)
  • Have the leadership to act as a test site supervisor for standard products with minimal supervision and direction
  • Knowledge of the calibration of electromechanical systems
  • Make technical decisions to solve problems
  • Ability to learn and practice skills in a flight simulation environment to maintain and operate all required equipment
  • Understanding visual projector systems and auto-calibration an asset
  • Experience related to flight simulators or in theaviation sector an asset
