Mechanical Technician

If you want to evolve and grow in a dynamic, stable team, carrying out projects of various kinds, we are looking for a mechanic technician to join the ventilation team. Major Metro Asset Maintenance Program (GPMAM)

GPMAM is responsible for replacing fixed equipment that has reached the end of its service life. The projects carried out are very varied: construction of ventilation stations, accessibility projects (addition of elevators inside existing stations), various deliverables of an electrical nature (medium and low voltage) and the addition or modernization of telecommunications.

The BPÉFM carries out its projects in EPCM mode (engineering, procurement and construction management). The realization of projects often requires multidisciplinary engineering teams (architecture and engineering (all disciplines are represented).

Stantec has been a partner for almost 18 years with the STM. The current team is made up of about 250 people from the STM and Stantec.

You will have as main task to participate in the design of various projects of ventilation, heating and plumbing systems, more specifically, you will have:


  • Develop and draw the plans for the mechanical discipline;

  • Coordinate with the architect and other professionals the development of plans and specifications;

  • Participate in the preparation of QT and DI;

  • Perform inspections and surveys;

  • Participate in technical assistance activities;

  • Check shop drawings;

  • Monitor final plans and surveys.


  • College diploma in mechanics or equivalent experience;

  • Minimum 5 experience;

  • Consulting engineering experience (asset);

  • Master perfectly AutoCAD;

  • Mastery of REVIT (asset).
