Operations Project Manager - New Programs

The Operations Project Manager is responsible of all industrialization activities for a given enginesection during the program development phase. He or she is a key member of the IntegratedProduct Team (IPT) and works directly with the Engineering Project Manager to deliver a productfrom Development to Production environment. Representing operations, the Operations ProjectManager will have significant interface with sourcing managers, manufacturing analysts, qualitymanagers and customers. He or she is also responsible for specific program projects such asadvance sourcing, manufacturing readiness, configuration management or customer clinic startup.

Liaison for Operations with Engineering Project Managers and Senior Program Managers/Directors;Manages the industrialization schedule and financial of the projects; Manages project DevelopmentHardware by driving strategic sourcing, cost, manufacturing capacity and produceability; Managesconfiguration incorporation into the Production Bill of Material and engines; Monitors and analyzesproject resource requirements; Provide the Program Management Team (PMT) the industrializationscorecard of the project; Interacts with all levels of management and staff within program andprojects as well as other functional organizations including contracts, finance and procurement asnecessary to resolve problems and provide accurate, timely, user-friendly reports on program andproject status; Interfaces with Project Managers and project team members to prepare timely andaccurate reports as required by our customers; Interfaces with Project Manager regarding anypotential baseline variances on schedule and cost, trends and cash flow, support mitigationplanning where appropriate and assist in finding best solutions; Other duties as required by theSenior Program Manager to ensure the success of the project;

Bachelor degree in Engineering, Administration, Operation Management or another related fieldProject Management training or equivalent, PMP certification or MBA is an asset 8 to 12 years ofexperience in manufacturing or engineering Working knowledge of relevant software applications,such as MS tools (Excel, Projects and PowerPoint) and MS Project Strong analytical abilities; detailoriented and well organized Strong customer service focus Ability to work in a stressfulenvironment Excellent written and verbal communication skills English and French Ability toquickly make decisions even when facing uncertainty Excellent interpersonal skills with provenability to work with staff at allField of study: Administration,Aerospace Engineering,Automated Production,Engineering,IndustrialEngineering,Management,Mechanical Engineering,Operations Management
