Your professional responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chief Industrial Engineer, the candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Coordinate large-scale projects to improve productivity and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with other teams in the organization on continuous improvement projects;
  • Carry out technical studies (time and motion studies, value chain, production line balancing, development plan, etc.);
  • Carry out project profitability studies ;
  • Define or review working methods;
  • Coordinate the integration and optimization of equipment (training, methods and others);
  • Perform the link between cost reduction projects and the reality of the production floor;
  • Contribute to optimizing the production flow;
  • Establish lean material flow methods ;
  • Leader and lead continuous improvement projects (PVA, 5S, KAIZEN) and implement the solutions found;
  • Train work teams participating in projects;
  • Establish tools ls for monitoring the maintenance of the solutions implemented;
  • Audit the processes and the solutions implemented;
  • Technically support the production departments as well as our subcontractors;
  • All other related tasks

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • BAC in industrial engineering, Management of operations or equivalent;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a "lean" manufacturing environment;
  • Experience in a lean transformation and / or continuous improvement projects;
  • Knowledge of value-added production tools / Lean manufacturing / Toyota Production system;
  • Knowledge of standard work tools;
  • Experience and knowledge of Autocad software an asset ;
  • Experience working in a computerized environment (MRP / ERP / SAGE X3);
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook;
  • Bilingualism functional.
