We are currently at looking for a senior contract and supply manager to fill a full-time position in our office in Brossard or Montreal and starting as soon as possible

Your main responsibilities

Within the project team and in close collaboration with the engineering team , the contract and supply manager will be responsible for initiating and coordinating all the commercial aspects of several lots of purchases and installation contracts in an industrial environment within the framework of various projects whose value varies from 1 to $ 40 million. Activities include:

  • Writing and reviewing administrative clauses of technical specifications;
  • Communication with potential bidders, drafting the list of bidders for construction lots;
  • Negotiation of terms and conditions with suppliers
  • Development of delivery logistics as needed (transport, customs, etc.);
  • Monitoring and follow-up with suppliers regarding the progress of orders and deliveries;
  • Management of the tender process:
    • Transmission of letters of invitation to tender;
    • Transmission of tender documents;
    • Reminder to tenderers;
    • Receipt of tenders and distribution to the technical team;
    • Participation in bid analysis (Commercial clauses)
    • Organization of clarification meetings;
    • Participate in financial negotiations;
    • Contract award recommendation
  • Monitoring of denunciations and contract receipts;
  • Management of contractual deductions and closure of contracts;
  • Recommend progress payments to contractors, in accordance with the physical progress measured by site personnel;
  • Site assistance (one to two days / weeks):
    • Management of acceptance of goods and services on site;
    • Update of acceptance in SAP;
    • Management of weekly site meetings jointly with the construction manager;
    • Monitoring of progress and schedule;
    • Monitoring of contract budgets and authorized changes (Extras)

The skills required

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • English-French bilingualism
  • Good communication (verbal and written)
  • Experience in an industrial environment
  • Conna issue ofconsulting engineering
  • Available to work outside the office on occasion
  • Health and safety certificate on construction sites (ASP card)
  • Mastery de suite Office
  • Owning a car and a valid driver's license
