We are currently at looking for a Structural Engineer, industrial project manager to fill a permanent full-time position for assignment either to our Montreal office or to our Brossard office, at the employee's choice .

Main responsibilities

  • Manage large-scale industrial projects from $ 50k to $ 1M;
  • Manage multidisciplinary project teams;
  • Definition of projects from clients' facilities;
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients;
  • Establish project implementation strategies (Supply, Contracts, etc.);
  • Effectively communicate the progress of projects to clients, manage proactive changes to projects;
  • Guide the project team in the management of contractors;
  • Participate in the procurement process (call for tenders, submission analysis, purchase, monitoring, etc.);
  • Prepare and monitor the project schedule;
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets;
  • Contribute to business development of the firm;
  • Design structures in a mainly industrial context.

Skills sought:

  • Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in similar functions
  • Have experience in consulting engineering and structural design
  • Have experience in project management
  • Available for occasional work trips
  • Health and safety certificate on construction sites (ASP card)
  • Own a car and a driver's license v alide
  • English-French bilingualism
  • Having communication skills
  • Having a team and collaborative spirit
  • Being autonomous and proactive
  • Being able to work in a context with multisite collaborators (virtual communications)

Assets:

  • Knowledge of the environment and execution of industrial projects
  • Knowledge of SAFI
  • Knowledge of MathCad
