The person we are looking for will be responsible for managing a group of purchased parts inspectors and/or material handlers. Actively participates in continuous improvement and ensures employees receive the required support. Accountable for quality, adherence to delivery schedules, productivity, cost, environment health and safety issues and the implementation of the continuous improvement program. Assists in development and management of budget, staffing, and or business/operations results · Supervises individual contributors
Employee management;• Must deal with the prevention of health and safety incidents by actively promoting best practices and appropriate behavior; • See the continuous improvement of the quality by ensuring that its employees us the tools and resources associated with the ACE program; • Responsible for managing employee productivity while meeting internal customers priorities and objectives;• Empower group leaders and employees;• Assign tasks to employees; • Create a project and scheduling management plan; • Train and coach employees; • Draft employee evaluations and communicate to employees annually; • Present monthly reports to management; • Manage organizational changes.· Bachelor degree with 4 to 7 years experience· Master degree with 2 to 5 years experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in Supervision in the manufacturing, aerospace or logistic segment (unionized environment);• Strategic planning; • Knowledge of the aerospace industry (asset); • Experience in logistic industry role (important asset); • Excellent communicator; • Organizational changes skills; • Advanced leadership skills; • Training and coaching skills; • Good business administration skills; • Good logistic knowledge; • Bilingual English and French speaking and writing; • Knowledge of SAP (an asset).
