Water Treatment Operator

THE COMPANY

Aquatech Canadian Water Services Inc. (ACWS) specializes in the operation and maintenance of drinking water treatment plants and networks, wastewater treatment plants and sewage networks, and industrial process water treatment systems. ACWS offers its services to a number of Municipalities in the GTA and Eastern Ontario area. We are currently looking for a versatile Operator to join our growing team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and maintain a Water Treatment System
• Collect and analyze operational and consumption data
• Collect and analyze samples.
• Process interpretation and adjustment according to the lab results.
• Perform and adjustment maintenance on chemical injection systems.
• Calibrate lab equipment, online equipment and instrumentation.
• Compile and complete reports for appropriate government agencies and all the required documentation.
• Analysis performance failure and propose process improvements
• Request competitive quotes for correctives actions and repairs
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in the waste/water treatment and networks
• Level 3 Water Distribution Operator Qualification or higher
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Supervising experience is an asset

TRAINING

• Diploma in Water and Wastewater Technician Program

📍Additional details:
This is a FIFO (fly-in fly-out) position, but the work will be carried out mostly remotely, with occasional site presence as required.
