STATUS: Temporary - 52 weeks

SALARY: Class 11 – from $95,439.65 to $125,540.32 / year

SCHEDULE: 33.75 hours per week, DAY; MONDAY to FRIDAY - 08:30 to 16:30

WORKING MODE: Hybrid

WORK LOCATION: Engineering Department, 1333 BOUL CHOMEDEY Laval H7V 3Y1

The challenges that await you

You will coordinate and conduct studies and projects in traffic and transportation. You will participate in the planning of projects carried out in the City regarding standards and regulations related to road signage, road network development, and traffic lights. You will develop and participate in the design of traffic light systems and the associated programming. You will be responsible for managing assets related to the various equipment of these systems.

The ideal profile for us

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering;
  • Have six (6) years of relevant experience in traffic light design, technical programming analysis, and knowledge of various control, optimization, and traffic management products and equipment on the market;
  • Be a member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
  • Possess a valid driver's license and a vehicle;
  • Hold an ASP card.
