Our client, a well-established consulting engineering firm recognized for the quality of its municipal infrastructure projects, is seeking an experienced civil engineer to join its team. The client's name will be disclosed to shortlisted candidates.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Service Director, the successful candidate will act as the lead designer and project manager for urban infrastructure projects.
She manages projects from needs assessment and preliminary studies through to the production of plans and specifications, the tendering process, and construction support. Thanks to her strong technical skills and autonomy, she coordinates the various disciplines, manages the resources allocated to the projects, and maintains effective communication with clients, municipalities, contractors, and other stakeholders. Your Main Responsibilities Technical Design Develop and oversee the design of urban infrastructure projects: water supply networks, sanitary and storm sewers, stormwater management, roads, drainage, grading and earthworks, and rehabilitation of existing infrastructure. Perform the necessary calculations, technical analyses, and hydraulic validations. Prepare or oversee the production of plans, profiles, details, and specifications.
