Dynamic mechanical design engineer

Our client is the leader in its field (automation), its expansion phase leads it to recruit a Mechanical Engineer to join its team in Montreal

They specialize in the manufacturing of complex dynamic equipment and offer an innovative and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and model mechanical systems in motion
• Design and optimize mechanical systems taking into account dynamic constraints.
• Carry out numerical simulations (finite elements, multi-body modeling, etc.) to predict the dynamic behavior of systems.
• Participate in the design and validation of prototypes.
• Collaborate with R&D, production and quality teams to ensure the feasibility of projects.
• Write technical reports and recommendations to improve system performance.
• Respect safety, quality and delivery standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience
• Member in good standing of the OIQ (full license)
• Experience in dynamic mechanics, vibrations .......
• Strong problem-solving and technical analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Bilingual French and functional English (client and plant outside Quebec)
