What does it mean to be an electrical technician at EnerServ?

The tasks of an electrical engineering technician are varied. Here are the main ones:

• Perform electrical connections and disconnections on alternators;
• Plan and carry out electrical tests and inspections on alternators;
• Participate in the preparation of service offers;
• Write reports for customers following tests carried out;
• Manage schedules established during field work;
• Ensure compliance with budgets presented to the customer;
• Demonstrate vigilance and caution in health and safety matters.

The electrical engineering technician we're looking for must demonstrate that he or she is :

• Collaboration mode with co-workers;
• Autonomous, rigorous and professional;
• Able to write technical reports using computer tools (knowledge of the Office suite);
• Available to travel to job sites when required;
• Able to communicate in English, both orally and in writing;
• Degree in electromechanics, electrical engineering or related field. Any relevant experience will be considered.
• Familiar with electrical testing: insulation resistance, Hipot, power factor, etc. As well as being able to validate the correct operation of instrumentation systems. (Assets)
