Continuous improvement engineer.

Our client, a superb family business recognized worldwide in the processing and marketing of food products for over 60 years, is actively looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer.

Your main challenges:

  • Develop and promote the implementation of standardized best practices for operations, including the management of performance indicators.
  • Support the continuous improvement program as well as quality control activities.
  • Ensure the management of non-conformities and the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Recommend the selection or modification of manufacturing equipment and optimize its performance.
  • Support the start-up of new equipment and investment projects.
  • Supervise major tests and contribute to the resolution of technical problems within the unit.
  • Support production in the development of new products.

 

Required profile:

  • A relevant degree in mechanical engineering and/or industrial.
  • Experience in the food industry.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role or other related experiences.
  • Experience in the private manufacturing sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work and communicate well with others.
  • A strong sense of organization and excellent priority management skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in continuous improvement processes, such as Kaizen, 6 Sigma, etc.
