Microelectronics Operator and Welder

Kontron Canada is looking for a Microelectronics Operator and Welder to join her experienced and dynamic team.

AN OVERVIEW OF THE CHALLENGES AHEAD:

• You will carry out repairs and/or assembly of parts on electronic boards, which consists of:
  • Performing solder touch-ups, modifications and repairs of all types of components (TH, SMT, QFP, BGA, etc.) using specialized touch-up and inspection equipment;
  • Using a microscope to verify repairs to be made (bad solder, lifted components, etc.);
  • Inspecting solder joints respecting industry standards and in accordance with internal processes;
• You will assemble cables for the products in prototyping;
• You will assemble / configure electronic boards and industrial systems;
• You will perform test sequences related to the electronic boards and industrial systems;
• You will do packaging tasks related to electronic boards and systems;
• You will provide support to the warehouse (kitting) for lot preparations and orders;
• You will respect good manufacturing practices;
• All other related tasks.

 YOU WILL IMPRESS US IF YOU HAVE:

• Education: High-school, DEP or DEC in electronics or the equivalent;
• Experience: Ideally 3 years in electronics manufacturing and touch-ups;
• Knowledge: Basic knowledge in electronics, blueprint reading and component value, IPC-A-610 standards;
• Profile: Excellent vision and manual dexterity, good ability to concentrate and good judgment, autonomy, flexibility, aptitude to work with a microscope;
• Language:
