The Editor/Cabler will work under the supervision of the Production Manager. As an Assembler/Wirer, you will be responsible for the precise assembly and wiring of control panels used in industrial automation systems. You will work closely with engineers and technicians to ensure the quality and reliability of finished products, in accordance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Mount and assemble electrical and electronic components in control panels, following electrical schematics and design plans;
  • Carry out precise wiring of components according to technical specifications and current safety standards;
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to optimize assembly and wiring processes, proposing technical improvements if necessary;
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following safety procedures and using appropriate protective equipment;
  • Occasionally, provide support to the electromechanical team on the manufacturing of equipment for robotic systems produced by the company;

Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years of prior experience in the assembly and wiring of electrical control panels, preferably in the field of industrial automation;
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical and electronic components, as well as wiring principles and safety standards;
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and design plans to achieve accurate and compliant wiring;
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a project context where deadlines and budgets must be strictly adhered to;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team;
  • Compliance with safety standards and occupational health and safety regulations;

Education and Qualifications:

  • Diploma of studies (DEP) in electricity, electromechanics or a related field.
  • Excellent command of French and English.
  • Proficiency in computer tools and office software.
  • Additional training in control panel assembly or electrical wiring would be an asset.
  • Certification in electrical safety or any other relevant certificate would be appreciated.

Working conditions:

  • This position is mainly workshop-based, with the possibility of occasional participation in installation sites on customer sites depending on the employee's interest and expertise.
