We are experiencing strong international growth. As such, our Drawing team is looking for a Drawing Technician to support the growth of our engineering projects.

Drawing Technician (AutoCad Plant 3D) – Montreal, Du Collège metro.

Role:

You will be an integral part of a young and dynamic company and will work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams on varied projects.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, from sketches and other data, drawings and diagrams for engineering projects, including:
  • Process and piping plans (PFD);
  • Instrumentation and control diagrams (P&ID);
  • 3D modeling of equipment, piping, components;
• Prepare layout plans for the installation of new equipment, 2D/3D;
• Draw project elements and manufacturing drawings with accuracy and precision using AutoCAD software;
• Participate in meetings, in order to coordinate equipment and piping during modeling;
• Apply the company’s design and quality standards;
• Take measurements at construction sites;

Requirements:

• Proficiency in software AutoCAD Plant 3D and AutoCAD;

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in engineering drawing;
• Diploma of professional studies in technical, industrial or building design, or any other training deemed equivalent;
• Aptitude in design for building or process mechanics (an asset);
• Experience in consulting engineering (an asset);
