Project Manager - Building Mechanical Engineering

Our client, a building electrical and mechanical engineering consulting firm, is looking for an additional person to support them in the numerous projects of their multi-sector business partners. Focused on the success of their clients, the team is seeking a Project Manager - Building Mechanical Engineering to manage projects and support their strategic growth.

Responsibilities

• Project management (planning, coordination and execution, follow-up with stakeholders, project delivery according to expectations)
• Collaborate with your colleagues to carry out various complex commercial, residential, institutional, municipal, and light industrial projects
• Carry out studies, engineering calculations, client contact, field surveys, and budget evaluations in building mechanics
• Actively participate in the design and development of plans and specifications for building systems ventilation, plumbing, and automated control systems
• Coordinate and supervise the work of the team (technicians and draftsmen)
• Be a proud ambassador for establishing and maintaining professional and company standards

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
• Have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in consulting engineering
• Have extensive knowledge of HVAC ventilation, plumbing, automated control systems, and gas
• Knowledge of the codes and standards governing building mechanics in Quebec
• Fluency in French; English is an asset
• Have an interest in entrepreneurship (asset)
