The tasks to be accomplished:

- Lead research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of electricity production and transmission networks, electrical components and equipment and electronic communication, instrumentation and control systems.

- Prepare cost and time estimates as well as design specifications for electrical systems and installations, and write reports.

- Design circuits, components, networks and installations electrical.

- Monitor and verify the installation, modification, testing and operation of electrical systems and devices.

- Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical systems and devices.

- Investigate the cause of equipment failures.

- Prepare contractual documents and evaluate bids for construction or maintenance work.

- Other tasks related to the job.

Required skills:

- Completed studies in electrical or electromechanical engineering

- Completed BAC in electrical engineering

- Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec

- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite

- Organization

- Bilingualism

- Good communication skills.
