Mechanical engineer (dynamics)

Our client, a recognized leader in the field of automation, is continuing its expansion and is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its dynamic team in Laval.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze and model moving mechanical systems.

• Design and optimize mechanical systems while taking into account dynamic constraints.

• Conduct numerical simulations (finite element analysis, multi-body modeling, etc.) to predict the dynamic behavior of systems.

• Participate in the design, testing, and validation of prototypes.

• Collaborate with the R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure project feasibility and optimization.

• Write technical reports and suggest improvements to optimize system performance.

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards and delivery deadlines.

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

• OIQ (full degree)

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in design Mechanical Engineering

• Excellent problem-solving and technical analysis skills.

• Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

• Fluency in French and functional English (interaction with clients and factories outside Quebec).
