Structural Engineer Intermediate, full-time, permanent

SBSA Structural Consulting Experts- is a growing corporation from Montreal, it is registered in the province of Quebec and specializes in consulting services structural engineering. Our mission is to design cutting-edge structures, carry out sustainable and economical projects, and provide exceptional service to our clients in order to contribute to the success of their construction projects. Our services include building design, industrial structure design, structural steel assembly design, and legal and engineering services.

SBSA is a proud member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec, Ontario Society of Professional Engineers, and many other professional associations. SBSA has also completed projects in other provinces and the United States.

From industrial, commercial, small to high rise projects, we design all types of building structures and offer services for all stages of the project life cycle.

We are looking for an Intermediate Structural Engineer, OIQ member, to join our team. We evolve in a collaborative spirit marked by respect.

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
• Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ)

Roles and responsibilities

• Design and analyze concrete, steel or wooden structures
• Prepare technical reports
• Perform site checks and attend site meetings
• Prepare plans and quotes

Skills sought

• Proficiency in analysis software such as ETABS, SAFE or equivalent
• Knowledge of the design of steel and reinforced concrete structures
• Knowledge of NBCC, CSA S16, and CSA A23.3
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software
• Experience in the construction field
• Proficiency in written and spoken French
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
